Lophophora williamsii – Own taproot degraft

  • Length: Aprox 10cm across
  • Multiple pups
  • Old degraft
  • Sent bare root.

This an old degrafted Lophophora williamsii, meaning he has been on his own legs since 2019. He was originally grafted to around 7cm then degrafted in 2019. He has a fully formed taproot and is fully established. If I never mentioned it here, you would never know that he was originally a degraft.

Regarding degrafts, they say, after 5 years of being on their own roots, they are fully formed as per their natural state.

Lophophora Care

  • Substrate: Very gritty mix with little to no organic material (fertilise with each feed)
  • Watering: Spring to Autumn (April to September/October), infrequently. They can handle a lot of moisture but if things go south, they go south quickly. Best to abuse over baby them.
  • Light: Natural or artificial (while young), South facing window or greenhouse.
Weight 0.5 kg
