Extremely Rare Oz Genetics, Trichocereus bridgesii semi monstrose “Kai Funky Lumpy”

  • Please see listing for size & condition.
  • Pure Tr bridgesii genetics
  • Semi monstrose

Please select the cut number you would like, the images will filter so you can see each plant. Some of the pups took a hit over winter and you can see the healed over previous damage.

Note: I will cut these to order, they will need a week to dry out before shipping.
Note 2: I realise it is quite pricey, but, I paid $500 for a 10″ cut last season, this is cheap as for this particular genetic.

If you have any questions around substrate or anything, please use the contact form and I will be happy to help with any questions.

Kai Funky Lumpy History

Another very rare and sought after clone. This clone was originally cloned and distributed by MoonUnitBotanica, Australia. He is uniform as of now, but, will go full on freak at any point and is concidered semi monstrose, aka “Melted Wax”.

Steps For Rooting

Once the cut is received, place it around 1/2 inch to 1 inch in a pot of substrate. I use wooden kebab skewers to hold up the piece. Water lightly and you should start getting new root growth within a few weeks to a few months depending on conditions.

I purchased this cut of Kai because I know it’s quite rare here in the UK but for a pure bridge to have no humidity spots in the UK is amazing I would highly recommend cactocereus wholeheartedly🙏 the plants they keep are immaculate. I’ll be purchasing again very soon that SS02 is calling my name😅

An alternative way would be to stick them in perlite and wait for them to root, once roots form you can re-pot.

All plants sold are strictly for garden / ornamental purposes, not for human consumption. We are here to cultivate these beautiful plants and spread them as far as we can, nothing outside of growing (all things related to growing) will be tollerated.
