Trichocereus Peruvianus for sale UK
Average between 6cm to 10cm.
These plants are sent bare root to protect the body of the cacti and avoid any damage in transit.
Each plant will have a plant passport attached, new UK requirement

As its name suggest, Trichocereus Peruvianus (Echinopsis Peruvianus) are native to Peru (Matucana). These columnar cacti can reach heights of up to six metres with white flowers that open only at night (amazing, I know).

Growing Requirements:

Peruvian Torch are relatively easily grown in the UK, especially due to the fact that they do not require massive amounts of sunlight. As most cacti grown in the UK, they are best grown in a greenhouse or conservatory (grow tents are also used for younger plants), South facing is a distinct advantage.

Watering

Watering from Spring (April) to beginning of Autumn (End September). Depending on what kind of summer we get will depend on how frequent you need to water, but, less is better with cacti. During the winter months, little to no watering is required or the roots could rot (they do not like to be wet for long periods).

Substrate

In warmer climates, you could go for a more nutrient rich mixture (50% organic / 50% inorganic). But, in the UK, it is best to err more on the side of inorganic (60% – 70% inorganic) to ensure the pot is drained quickly.

Excellent seedlings I bought 1 Peruvian Torch cactus seedling and received 1 bridge cactus seedling as well for free. Both seedlings are bigger than expected and very healthy. Arrived quickly and well packaged in the post.

Excellent price, seedlings and customer service from Byron.

I sent him photos of the equipment and fertiliser I ha purchased on Amazon. Byron replied very quickly that they were not suitable so I was able to return them to Amazon for a refund. I would advise you to read Byron's PDF file on seedlings and seeds. It is very well written and simple to follow.

I have exchanged many emails with Byron he is a great source of information and inspiration.

I have also ordered 2l of his premium substrate as what I had ordered from Amazon was not suitable. I have ordered the two items in his PDF as he advised. Also organic kelp fertiliser as Byron advised me.

All in all its been a great customer experience and I would thoroughly recommend buying from this website and Byron.

Come with substrate and pot to make your life much easier and are of great quality. I got these as a present for my boyfriend and he loves them!
