This is the first release of Sun Goddess into the UK market. There are 2 mother plants this side of the pond and we brought both in at a substantial cost (Thanks for the effort, Steve).
Details
Trichocereus Sun Goddess is a Tr. grandiflora hybrid of largely unknown origin. Although quite common in the US, it is extremely rare this side of the pond. They make for fantastic ornamental plants, but their true shining attributes are as grafting stock. SG throws pups like crazy which means they are one of the easiest cacti to propogate out. In one season, we have been able to cut, propagate & root 8 offshoots.
Tr. Sun Goddess is a fast growing cactus hybrid with beautiful golden spines. They also boast massive white flowers and once flowering, will flower multiple times in a season.
They are easy to maintain, similar to San Pedros in care, maintenance and substrate composition.
Generally speaking, they will double in size every season if not used as rootstock.
